5. Dancing Monkeys



There are numerous species of monkeys that are used for entertainment and tourist attraction. According to World Animal Protection's, 290 macaques monkeys have been uncovered in housed venues, offering shows in Thailand. These macaques are trained at a young age to walk and behave like human in painful ways. Macaques are chained in tiny cages when they are not forced to dance or do tricks for tourists, the chain also injure the macaques as the chains slowly ingrain into the skin as they grow, causing painful infections. FREE THE MACAQUES!


4. Holding Sea Turtles 



Cayman Islands is a cruel sea turtle farm, also known as a  tourist attraction spot in which tourists are able to hold turtles and even eat them. Fortunately, Cayman Island is  the world’s last remaining sea turtle farm and should be shut down. Sea turtles’ immune system are known to  weaken and be more susceptible to diseases FROM BEING HELD as they easily panic and stress. Knowing this, the sea turtle farm still allow tourists to hold sea turtles, as if they see sea turtles as nothing but a profit making object.  FREE THE SEA TURTLES!


3. Visiting Bear Parks




What do you picture when you think of  wild bears? Large? Dark brown? Broad? Sharp Claws? On hind legs scouting the area? In position to charge when necessary? Surrounded by large trees and grass in a massive open area? Yeah, that’s what I pictured too, however it is totally different in certain bear parks. At some bear parks, bears are held captive in cruel, small and wet pits that are overcrowded by numerous bears, looking starved. Stress may also be obtained by wild bears as their unfamiliar overcrowding environment may lead to bears attacking each other and causing severe injuries. FREE THE BEARS!


2. Performing Dolphins


The dolphin shows that is viewed at numerous dolphinarium by millions of tourists may look awesome and exciting, however,  many do not know that dolphins undergo cruel and abusive measures to be able to perform successfully in shows. Dolphins held captive in dolphinaria suffer their entire life as they are kept in a tiny space not much bigger than a swimming pool their entire lives. This may cause dolphins to attain painful skin, sunburn, eye irritations and even illnesses as chlorine is treated in the pools in which may harm dolphins. Sunburn may also occur as dolphins are unable to escape to ocean depths in their natural open sea environment, like they’re meant to, but instead forced to live in a tiny pool and perform shows. Imagine being locked up in a dark room your entire life, with the inability to step out in the sunlight at all. Many problems to the human body would arise, wouldn’t be great right? Fortunately. several countries such as the US has banned dolphins taken from the wild to perform in shows and there are also many non-profit organisations working together to end this such as the ‘Dolphinaria-Free Europe. Unfortunately, Australia has not banned dolphin shows yet at places like Sea World. FREE THE DOLPHINS!


1. Riding Elephants



By far, elephant riding is the most cruelest tourist animal attraction. A horrific and cruel training process known as “the crush”  is undergo on baby elephants that are taken from their mothers in order to literally crush the elephant's spirit and scar them to make and accept people riding on their back. This process often involves constraining the baby elephant in small cages with ropes or chains, preventing freedom or communication between other elephants and also beating them with a bullhook to inflict pain that the baby elephant won’t forget. The emotional scarring of the pain and trauma of the bullhook, in which is always used, reminding elephants throughout their lives that they will feel pain if they don’t obey. FREE THE ELEPHANTS!
