Top 10 Chocolate Brands

10. Freddo Frog
A chocolate bar shaped like a cartoon frog, manufactured by Cadbury. The Freddo Frog is an Australian icon, originally created in 1930, slowly making its way into the status of a household name. It shares the standard taste of other Cadbury Dairy Milk products, but its shape is the reason for its excessive popularity. It has recently made its way into overseas markets, further increasing its popularity.

9. Cadbury Flake
Cadbury have also produced a thinly flaked milk chocolate bar, called the 'Flake'. It was accidentally discovered when parts of chocolate bars were found falling off the moulds in British Cadbury factories. In 1930, Flakes were used in soft serve cones and served as ice cream cones. This tradition still exists in McDonalds restaurants worldwide.

8. Kit Kat
The Kit Kat is a wafer bar sold worldwide that comes in two and four packs. Each wafer or "finger" can be snapped separately to be easier to eat. Its shape is quite distinct. It is manufactured by Nestlé and originally produced in the United Kingdom. There are also a few different flavours including the new Cookies & Cream.

7. Toblerone
Toblerone is a swiss chocolate brand. It's known for its triangular prism shape and its obscure separation between pieces. It was originally created in Bern, Switzerland but is now owned by an American company known as Mondelēz International. Overall, it makes 2 billion dollars annually. It's extremely popular in the United States and mildly popular worldwide, usually competing with Mars for number of sales.

4. Cadbury Dairy Milk
Dairy Milk chocolate is quite simplistic in comparison to the other mentions on this list as it is, exactly as the name says, just milk chocolate. While this simply doesn't make it a top 4 chocolate bar, it must have such a high number because of the impact it has had on the chocolate industry in total. Cadbury in full bases most of its chocolate bars off of the Dairy Milk chocolate base.

3. Lindt
Lindt has a variety of chocolate bars and sweets that fall under the Lindt brand including two major ones make up the majority of their sales (not including the bars). Lindt Lindor and the rabbit shaped chocolates that appear around Easter. Both are subjectively much better than Cadbury in terms of quality. The chocolate coating is often much thicker, whilst the chocolate compound itself is richer. Unfortunately, this does result in Lindt's prices being a lot higher.

2. Hershey's
Hershey's is an American-based chocolate brand, similar to an American alternative to the common British Cadbury. Its influence on the global chocolate scene is phenomenal. 1. Ferrero Rocher

Ferrero Rocher is a much more expensive chocolate than a lot of the other aforementioned chocolate brands; however, its quality is subjectively incomparable. Its container, texture, taste and quality is premium on the Australian market.
